Anchor Industrial Capacity for Regional Economies

Submit Site or Partnership Proposal

AFG partners with local governments, economic development organizations, and tribal councils to establish processing facilities that restore manufacturing jobs and build long-term economic resilience.

Local Processing Captures Local Value

We Rebuild Communities

Industrial hemp and bamboo create more value when processed near where they are grown.

This keeps economic output, employment, and tax base inside the region rather than exporting raw material away.

One facility creates a multi-sector economic engine.

Facility Siting & Utility Requirements

AFG evaluates and develops facilities based on:

  • Proximity to Agriculture

  • Proximity to rail

  • 40,000–200,000 sq ft building or expandable footprint

  • 277/480V 3-phase electrical service (or upgrade path)

  • Truck access and staging room

  • 20–32 ft clear height preferred

  • Proximity to grower acreage or logistics corridor

We retrofit existing industrial assets where possible to reduce capex and speed commissioning.

Workforce Pipelines Built With Local Institutions

We coordinate with:

  • Community colleges

  • Workforce innovation boards

  • Vocational technical programs

  • Tribal and rural training centers

to develop paid training-to-hire tracks, ensuring:

  • No labor shortage delays

  • Upward mobility in the local labor market

  • Youth retain employment in-region instead of leaving

The collage includes individuals reading, planting, and tending to the environment, along with images of wildlife like birds and butterflies, and structures like houses and a community center.

Blended Capital Models That Reduce Project Risk

AFG uses project finance, not speculative capital.

We align:

  • Federal climate & industrial transition funding

  • USDA biomass + rural development programs

  • EDC matching funds

  • Private capital and tax incentives

  • New Markets Tax Credits or Opportunity Zone alignment (where eligible)

We retrofit existing industrial assets where possible to reduce capex and speed commissioning.

How We Evaluate Regional Projects

  • Site & utility review

  • Acreage & supply corridor validation

  • Workforce availability & training alignment

  • Incentive & capital stacking plan

  • Facility acquisition & commissioning timeline
